'NCIS' Season 14 Episode 6 Spoilers: Team Investigation Will Take A Spooky Turn?

"NCIS" season 14 returns with an all-new Halloween themed episode next week.

Last week, fans of the series finally got to know why the character of Jennifer Esposito had to leave field work and do a desk job for several years. In the upcoming episode, the story will shift its focus on a kidnapper and how the team's investigation takes a spooky turn.

Titled "Shell Game," "NCIS" season 14, episode 6 will follow a Petty Officer as he gets kidnapped and manages to escape. As they go through the investigation, the team of Gibbs soon will discover a connection between the kidnapper and her missing husband.

In the promo for the episode, someone is shown telling the kidnapper of the Petty Officer what to do. The abductor can also be seen adjusting some chains. It appears that while the Petty Officer successfully managed to escape, she will not be totally out of danger yet, especially since Bishop tells her that she is the main target of the kidnapper. The promo video also teases that Quinn's life will be put at stake as someone tries to fool their team.

The synopsis for the episode also states that Abby will knit personalized gifts for the new agents of the team, including Nick Torres, Quinn and M16 Officer Clayton Reeves, as they celebrate the holidays.

Last episode, Reeves officially joined the team after helping Bishop and Quinn track down an M16 officer who turned out to be a weapons smuggler.

"NCIS" season 14, episode 6 airs on October 25, 8:00 P.M. on CBS and will feature NFL player Tony Gonzalez as NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis.
