'NCIS' Season 11 Ziva David Goodbye, 'Sopranos' Emily Wickersham to Replace Cote de Pablo on Hit CBS Show, Premiere Sept. 2013 (VIDEO)
"NCIS" Season 11 premieres on CBS with "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" next week and the big news is that Ziva David, played by Cote de Pablo, will be exiting the show early in the season.
With Ziva leaving the show, it leaves a big gap that will need to be replaced. This is not an easy thing to do with any show successfully and Pablo has been on the cast since 2005.
The reports are out now though that a new female replacement for Ziva David is in the works, Emily Wickersham.

Emily Wickersham is well known for her mob ties on the hit HBO show "The Sopranos" and will now be joining the cast of "NCIS" and CBS family. She also currently has a recurring role on "The Bridge" on FX.
Wickersham will be on a three-episode deal with the show, this is normal to see how it fits on both sides before making a long-term commitment.
TV Line says Wickersham will play "Bishop, a bright, educated, athletic, attractive, fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward new agent. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism. She's traveled extensively, but only feels comfortable at home."
"The first two episodes are all about Ziva's departure," EP Gary Glasberg recently told TVLine. "And then in the third episode we [begin to] introduce some different characters. And then, hopefully, when people are comfortable enough, one will walk in and be The One."
How do you think Emily Wickersham will go as Cote de Pablo's successor?
