NBA Miami Heat Trade Rumors: Signed Shannon Brown, Luol Deng Replaces LeBron?

It was a great loss for NBA's Eastern Conference team the Miami Heat when its former star player Lebron James left to go back to his home state team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, for the 2014-2015 Season.

Despite the big loss, Miami Heat won't settle for anything less than exceptional, recently they signed on Shannon Brown to help out as back up shooting guard for Dwayne Wade. "The Journeyman," Brown is reported to have played for seven teams in eight NBA seasons.

Miami Heat offered the NBA player a contract recently which he apparently signed. Brown has an average of 7.7 points and shot 42 percent overall and 33.1 percent on three-pointers in 403 games, including 58 starts, which is not bad and definitely adds advantage to the team.

For several weeks now, Miami Heat has been trying out several NBA players for a back-up shooting guard spot since Wade missed a total of 28 games last season. Miami reportedly auditioned Chris Douglas-Roberts, Jordan Crawford and Leandro Barbosa before finally settling with Brown.

According to reports, upon Brown's signing, there are already 16 players under contract with the Miami Heat including Wade, Chris Bosh, Luol Deng and Mario Chalmers. The current line up may still be more since teams can take up to 20 players to training camp.

So far, with the names on the Miami Heat's line up, it would seem that the team can still be one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference. James' replacement was reported to be new comer Deng. Although he is not James, he is seen to be more than enough to allow the Heat to finish in a good position this season.

Many find Deng to be one of the best wing defenders in the NBA, and hopefully he helps the team establish their defensive presence. Also several other players like Josh McRoberts, Norris Cole and Reggie Williams are said to have the ability to bring the team many victories in the 2014-2015 NBA Eastern Conference Season.
