'Naruto Shippuden' Episode 467 Spoilers: Anime Has Come Under Fire Due To Filler?

"Naruto Shippuden" has come under fire recently due to filler issues.

Fans of the series claim that episode 466 had too many fillers, leading to the delay of the much anticipated epic battle between Naruto, Sasike and Kaguya. Avid "Naruto" enthusiasts have grown weary of the manga due to the persistent airing of fillers to replace episodes, and many wonder if episode 467 will finally return to its original storyline and stop being embedded with unnecessary fillers and flashbacks.

According to reports, fans of the anime demand that the fillers be taken out because it robs the series of its glorious moments. Fans have also been hoping to see the fight of Naruto, Sasike and Kaguya in episode 467, but it seems that the anticlimactic scenes will just continue forward considering how such spectacular moments have been consistently held up in the recent episodes due to said fillers.

Episodes 466 and 467 are titled "Tumultuous Journey" and "Ashura's Determination," respectively, so there is a high possibility that the fillers will continue until the next episode, or at least until Ashura and Indra have settled their fight. Both characters are responsible for the hatred between the clans of Senju and Uchiha, the successors of Naruto and Sasuke.

Meanwhile, CrunchyRoll previously reported that it requires around $140,000 to create a 30-minute episode of an anime. Since "Naruto Shippuden" is no exception to high production costs, and considering how long it has been on the market, many believe that its production cost has already reached millions.

"Naruto Shippuden" episode 467 is scheduled to air on July 7.
