Music Video Launched For Needtobreathe's Latest Single, 'Happiness'

Needtobreathe

The music video for "Happiness," the carrier single from Needtobreathe's new album "H A R D L O V E" was recently released by the Southern rock band.

The album is scheduled to be released on July 15.

According to lead singer Bear Rinehart, making the music video for "Happiness" was "a lot of fun."

"Who doesn't want to run around the streets of LA in the dead of night? It's also the first video we've ever gotten to show off our athletic skills. You're welcome America. #Rio2016," he said in a statement.

The music video for "Happiness" was directed by Noble Jones, who has also helmed productions for Taylor Swift, Keith Urban and OneRepublic, and was shot in just one night in downtown LA.

The single is now being played by 47 Christian radios, such as, KLTY Dallas, Way-FM, Air 1 and WFSH Atlanta, among others. In fact, the track has already reached fifth place in the Hot AC/CHR ratings and no. 26 in the National Christian Audience charts.

It's no surprise, however, as "Happiness" was described in a review by Jesus Freak Hideout as containing "Motown blasts of soulful horns and handclaps." The review said that, in fact, the whole "H A R D L O V E" album is: "worth waiting for, the kind that should be listened to in an entire sitting. And then again and again."

Whereas "Rivers in the Wasteland" was a "career-defining album" for Needtobreathe, "Hard Love" seems like it is continuing that trend, "albeit with a bit more time and distance giving the band some perspective and breathing room."
