The Montreal Canadiens faces their Atlantic division rivals Toronto Maple Leafs this Wednesday at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The game will start at 7 pm ET and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

The Canadiens opens the 2014-2015 campaign on the road versus the Maple Leafs on October 8, as Montreal looks to build upon the success the team had this past NHL season.

The Canadiens were previously eliminated by the New York Rangers in the 2014 Stanley Cup Eastern Conference Finals in six games.

Now their alternate captain P.K. Suppan revealed his thoughts on the upcoming season after accumulating 53 points last season, highlighted by his unselfish play on the ice which resulted in 43 assists in the 2013-2014 campaign.

"It's going to be an exciting year," said Suppan to reporters, "It's going to come down to us sticking together."

The Maple Leafs are attempting to defend their home ice versus Montreal when the two Canadian teams battle on Opening night.

The Maple Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle praised his goalie Jonathan Bernier's performance last season, when the 26-year-old athlete posted a 2.68 GAA when he replaced James Reimer as the starting goaltender.

"We can't ignore what (Bernier) did for our hockey club (last season)," said Carlyle to reporters.

"Simple as that. We can't ignore what James Reimer's done for our hockey club (in his career)."

Now both teams will renew their longtime rivalry with their fellow Canadian team, also known "Les Habitants," on Wednesday night.

The game begins at 7 pm ET and can be viewed on TV on the TSN network or online through live stream by clicking here.
