Molly Tarlov Engagement News: ‘Awkward’ Star Engaged to Boyfriend Alexander Noyes

Molly Tarlov, the star of MTV's show, Awkward, got engaged to her boyfriend, Alexander Noyles, who is a musician, over the weekend of June 21st.

The couple revealed their big news on Instagram on June 23rd.

The actress shared a selfie of she and her fiance together, with her hand over he mouth, showing off her beautiful diamond ring.

"Remember this weekend when my favorite human in the world asked me to marry him? #isaidyes #Noyes #FIANCE," she captioned the picture.

At the same time that she announced the big news, Noyes shared a picture, also breaking the news.

He posted a candid picture of the proposal, in which he is down on one knee, raising his arm up in the air, as Tarlov appears to be overwhelmed with happiness.

"I found my other half," wrote the drummer. "And she said YES!"

Tarlov has starred on Awkward since 2011. The popular show will be returning to MTC for its fifth and final season on August 31st.

Noyes is the former drummer for the band Honor Society. He also used to play with the Jonas Brothers. Tarlov has previously played a role on ABC Family's show, Huge.

As a young star, she acted in several live theater productions, and she is the daughter of Mark Tarlov, the successful Hollywood producer and director.

She played a role in the 1999 feature film, Simply Irresistible, which was directed by her father.

Tarlov and Noyes are the latest in a trend of celebrities to show of their engagement via Instagram photos. Others include Iggy Azalea and fiance Nick Young.
