Miley Cyrus New Album "Bangerz" / Release Date Announced Via Twitter / "We Can't Stop" Singer To Release Twerk Album October 8 [VIDEO]

Miley Cyrus can't stop making headlines. First it was her twer-heavy, Salvia-induced "We Can't Stop" music video. Now the former Disney star is releasing her new album Bangerz.

Cyrus took to Twitter to announce the official October 8 release date to her 13 million followers.

The launch confirmation comes in the wake of announcing the name of the album.

"If you don't know why my record is called BANGERZ you'll know as soon as you hear it," Cyrus posted. "Nothin but #BANGERZ."

Though the album has a name, a release date, and a Hannah Montana, an official tracklist has yet to be released. However, we do know Bangerz will feature collaborations for beat-making extraordinaire Dr. Luke, Future, and "man of the hour" Pharrell Williams [still convinced he's a vampire].

The first single off Cyrus' fourth studio album "We Can't Stop" landed the singer her first number 1 slot of the U.K. music charts and remains number 2 on this week's Hot 100 chart.

Cyrus is taking a gamble releasing her album this fall. Not only will the October 8 release date be one week after Justin Timberlake releases the second half of The 20/20 Experience, but Bangers will come out two weeks before Katy Perry's Prism. Oh, and Gaga has a new album [ARTPOP] scheduled to drop 5 weeks after Bangerz.

It's a fact, Cyrus is now in the conversation. Let's see if she can keep people talking about her.
