Miley Cyrus 'We Can't Stop' Singer Says 'Wild Behavior' is Just Part of Being 20 & Growing up

Miley Cyrus has been taking over the entertainment headlines this summer with her relationship and engagement questions with Liam Hemsworth, her hair that she chopped off and bleached and the release of the music video for new song "We Can't Stop".

Cyrus has been coming out recently in defense of her latest actions.

"I think people forget what it feels like to be 20," Cyrus said recently. "People just evolve and that's all that's happened to me. But people think a mad scientist somehow cooked up this potion and turned me in to a different human, which it wasn't. All I did was get a haircut and buy some clothes and everyone thinks that I am made into a robot that changes with what's popular every 10 years."

Cyrus went on to say, "That's why I think some people kind of fall off and they end up going crazy because you don't give yourself time to go crazy. That's what you're supposed to do; you are 20, you are supposed to be a mess because you haven't figured it out yet, and 10 years from now I am supposed to have it all together."

"We Can't Stop" is an infectiously catchy song that is currently No. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The video however is not something that parents would like their young daughters watching or emulating as it has very strong sexual overtones and speaks openly about drug use which Cyrus confirmed recently is the subject matter of the song.

Hopefully Miley Cyrus breaks out of this stage soon as her peer Lindsay Lohan can attest that it can turn into a addiction that starts to control your life and take over everything you once had.
