Michelle Williams' 'Fire' Video Premiere Heats up the Screen; Destiny's Child Singer Speaks of Her Experience with God (VIDEO)

Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams is gearing up to release her fourth studio album, Journey to Freedom, in the fall. The singer premiered the video for the her second single "Fire" on Yahoo Music.

Keeping with the song's theme, the Derek Blanks directed video, is scorching in the vein of the Ohio Player's Fire album cover, except that Williams is clothed. The video is mostly focused on Williams in the midst of the flames appearing red, orange, and yellow filters, backdrops, and lighting.

The song provides a youthful catchy chorus, over a mid tempo track that talks about Williams' experience when being touched by God. The song over all is a message of overcoming trials, and it mentions a biblical reference of fire when she sings. "Just like them boys Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego/ I know when I come out the flames won't be smelling like smoke."

Along with her upcoming record, Williams has been keeping busy. She just signed on to join the 50-city arena national tour of "Jesus Christ Superstar" and is joining Gospel singer Deitrick Haddon for a new faith-based series, "Fix My Choir," on the Oxygen channel.
