'Metal Gear Survive' Release Date News: Gameplay Details To Be Revealed On Sept. 17

New details on the gameplay for Konami's "Metal Gear Survive" have surfaced and as per reports, it set to be released this week.

"Metal Gear Survive's" first gameplay footage is set to be live from Tokyo Game Show on Sept. 17, IGN has learned. As per the publication, the studio's YouTube channel is set to release a demo that will cover new details on the forthcoming game. It is set to take place at 4:15 JST/ 12:15 a.m. PT/ 3:15 a.m. ET/ 8:15 a.m. BST/ 5:15 p.m. AEST.

Konami is yet to announce the game's specifics; however, the studio confirmed at the recent press release that the game was being developed by members from the original MGSV:TPP production team.

The game stands as Konami's first output, after the departure of series creator Hideo Kojima. Sharing a similar universe with "Metal Gear Solid 5," the game centers on the outcome of the attack on Mother Base. In the game, players have to assume the role of one of the soldiers and form a team with others to take down zombie-like villains.

In terms of price, Konami prevously revealed that "Metal Gear Survive" will not be priced at $60, but at a lower range, which was $30, as per Game Spot. According to the publication, the price is parallel to the price of "Ground Zeroes" when it came out.

"Metal Gear Survive" is set to be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows in 2017. Watch the official trailer below.
