'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 LIVE STREAM ONLINE: Premiere Episode "The Locket" and "Coming Back" Tonight at 8 PM ET on CBS [TRAILER]

This is the "mother" of all TV premiere nights. That's right, How I Met Your Mother Season 9 premieres at 8 PM ET on CBS tonight.

We know from the Season 8 finale, that Ted, "the architect" Mosby will finally meet the titular mother this season. Our last glimpse of the last season was the mother, played by Broadway star Cristin Milioti, buying a train ticket to the wedding.

We also know, thanks to cast spoilers and what not, that the show's finale season will take place over the course of Barney and Robin's wedding weekend. Obviously there will be flashbacks and flashforwards per usual but the real-time events will all center around the wedding.

However, tonight there will be a two-part one hour premiere called "The Locket" and "Coming Back."

We know from the Season 9 trailer that tonight's premiere will involve Marshall seeing something online that somehow changes his plans. Hopefully it wasn't scantily clad women!

Also from the trailer premiere [and Season 8 finale] we know that Lily and Ted talk pretty deeply about his feelings for Robin. Given that Ted is Ted, we know it will take a little bit of personally suffering to let Robin marry Barney and not him, even though he knows they're not right for each other.
