MercyMe World Premiere New Video 'Flawless'; Band Reveals Deepest Struggles Covered in Dark Paint but Hold up to Cleansing Power of the Cross [VIDEO]

MercyMe released their music video for "Flawless," a single from the band's latest project, Welcome to the New, which peaked at No. 1 on both iTunes Christian sales and SoundScan chart.

In the recent release MercyMe all start out covered in dark paint. Then one by one the members revealed their deepest darkest struggles. One said they were "prone to selfishness." Another "Doubts that God will provide for his needs." Lead singer Bart Millard exposed that he was "Haunted by his past." They all shared, others stating the "Struggles with being the spiritual leader in his family," and one more said he "Puts work as first priority over family too often."

The band's new video helps put things in God's perspective and shows us how God sees things.

Along with a new video, MercyMe, is nominated for three 2015 Billboard Music Awards including: Top Christian Artist, Top Christian Album (Welcome to the New), and Top Christian Song (Greater).

Their smash success album Welcome To the New was released in early 2014 and found itself at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, the highest new debut of the week. The album received rave reviews, gathering affirmation from USA Today, Rhapsody and more. The popularity of the lead single "Shake" led to a performance on 'NBC's TODAY Show' and over two million music video views on several social platforms.
