Former legendary battle rapper MC Jin was on the "Sway In The Morning" radio show where he spoke about his turn to Christianity, his song "Complicated," and witnessing to non-believers.

Radio host Sway asked Jin to catch up on the events of his life since his freestyle battle fame. He mentioned finding faith while in China, and believes in the "Son of God and a child of Christ."

One of the questions Jin always gets is "'Wait a minute Jin, you Christian? I thought you were Chinese?'" he said laughing. "God bless them. I say that lovingly."

"I gotta look at is as an opportunity to maybe enlighten them in some way," he explained and said he could say back, "'Yeah traditionally, within Chinese culture it isn't known for Christianity' but to me that's the beauty of how God works and the faith. Especially right now in Asian, the revival game is crazy."

"Glory to God for everything he's doing there."

"Fresh off returning from Hong Kong after a four year stint, battle rapper extraordinaire Jin joins the Sway In The Morning crew," the video description reads.

MC Jin rose to prominence in the early to mid-2000s through battle rap. He had a string 10 victories in a row before losing his first two matches. He then won another 14 in a row before losing again, and was inducted into the Freestyle Friday Hall of Fame.

Shortly after he signed to DMX's record label Ruff Ryders, but failed to have much success off his first major label debut. He then went to China and modeled, acted in film and TV, and recorded a few albums in Chinese. In 2009 he became a born again Christian.
