Matt Maher Enlists John Tibbs For Spring ‘Saints And Sinners’ Tour
Multiple Grammy nominee Matt Maher is embarking on a spring tour to promote his latest album "Saints And Sinners."
The tour dates, with John Tibbs as special guest, will start on April 6 and will run through May 7.
Part of the proceeds from the tour will go to the benefit of Save the Storks and Museum of the Bible.
Ben Greene, director of affiliate partnerships for Museum of the Bible, which is under construction in D.C., explained they are very excited to join Matt Maher's "Saints and Sinners" tour.
"We feel that this is an incredible way for us to share our invitation for all people to engage with the Bible," he said in a statement.
"We are honored that Matt would take us on the road with him and encourage his audience to join us in that mission."
Save the Storks, meanwhile, is a non-profit that seeks to provide "stork buses" or mobile ultrasound units for local pregnancy resource centers across the country.
"As a result of that initiative, 1000's of women have been encouraged in their pregnancy towards options that honor the dignity of the mother and the child," a press release said.
The "Saints And Sinners" album earned Matt Maher a Grammy nomination earlier this year.
Maher was nominated twice in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category for his No. 1 single "Because He Lives (Amen)" - as performer and co-writer - but also as co-writer for Third Day's "Soul On Fire."
