Madonna's 'Messiah' Song Resumes her Obsession of Using Christian Content to Offend the Church (VIDEO)

Madonna has been known to incorporate sacrilegious content in her music in the past and on Wednesday the pop icon revealed the title of her latest single "Messiah," the controversial title hinting that the singer is set to release further offensive material against the Christian church.

Due to Madonna's prior blatant anti-Christ agenda, some followers on Instagram criticized her upon hearing the title of her new single. The Pop diva used the social media outlet to make the announcement.

Madonna revealed the title with a screen shot of the sheet music. Along with the picture she wrote, "Coming soon"¦"¦..#promise #keep#sorceress#deep," she posted the sheet music for what is assumed to be her modestly titled next single "Messiah."

In a second video post, fans are shown a symphony playing dark haunting music to which her caption reads, "Magic makes the people come together yaaaaaaaasssssssssss. #messiah."

Her last post ended with a quote from author James Baldwin's 1965 short story "Sonny's Blues," "We have Art in order not to die from the truth"nietzsche #jamesbaldwin #artforfreedom," Madonna advocated.

According to plato.stanford.edu Nietzsche's philosophy was based on "the death of god," the "uber" man (man trying to transcend to become the spiritual "overman," the will to power (Freud, Frankl, Adler who are psychologists) and the eternal recurrence or the idea that the world will continuously recur inspired by Eastern philosophy.

Madonna has been very deliberate in the past with sending a message to the church by using religious imagery. Her video for 1989's hit single "Like A Prayer" was condemned by the Vatican for its disrespectful scenes in the church. Products that sponsored Madonna were boycotted until they terminated their contracts with her.

Madonna was not put off at all throughout and has maintained her methods to promote herself and her music. She later chose to make a statement again, emerging out of the stage on a mirrored cross, singing her song "Live To Tell" while wearing a crown of thorns during her Confessions Tour. The Vatican once again condemned her activity, as did many Jews and Muslims because it was seen as an act of hostility towards the church. She was even threatened with a lawsuit by German Protestants.

Madonna recently disclosed that she has been working on the follow-up to 2012"²s MDNA with Avicii.
