MacBook Pro 2016 News, Rumors: Release Date Set For Oct. 27 At Apple Event

The release date for the MacBook Pro 2016 is literally just days away as news and rumors point to the Oct. 27 launch during an Apple event.

Apparently, the rumors are claiming that the MacBook Pro 2016 release date will coincide with the quarterly earnings call of Apple, which is scheduled on Oct. 25. If not, the device might be launched on Oct. 27.

According to MacWorld, the company might be looking to announce a "blockbuster launch" in order to take away the fact that the iPhone sales have declined in the fourth quarter of this year.

There were previous rumors about an Oct. 24 release date for the MacBook Pro 2016, although Apple historically doesn't launch products on Mondays and is not expected to buck that trend now.

One of the more anticipated features of the MacBook Pro 2016 is the key display right above the keyboard for quick access to common tasks. Although there's no word on what it's called, tech news sites have described it as the "Dynamic Function Row." The gadget is also touted to be the thinnest in the lineup, along with the usual bells and whistles whenever Apple upgrades a product.

The ApplePost said this would be the time when the company will unveiled a refreshed MacBook Pro lineup. Apple will also allegedly introduce the AirPods during the Oct. 24 event, as well as the 5K standalone display.

If all the news and rumors are true regarding the MacBook Pro 2016, as well as the company earnings, it's really going to be a very busy next days for Apple.
