MacBook Air & MacBook Pro 2016 Rumors: New Laptops to Accommodate Heavy Gaming?

Latest reports regarding the much-awaited MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 suggest that these new laptops have been designed to accommodate heavy gaming. If rumors are to be believed, these upcoming devices will accommodate powerful Nvidia GPU as well as external GPU units.

Christian Today reports that recently Nvidia has released the GeForce GTX 950 GPU, which is promoted to be thrice faster compared to the 650 GPU units, which was considered to be the most powerful in the lineup so far. In addition, the GeForce GTX 950 GPU also offers support on most recent as well as all technologies and effects. Incorporating it in the new MacBook laptops will make them more powerful.

The MacBook Air 2016 should be more formidable, as it would be powered by a new Intel Skylake processor. This unit is the latest and most spectacular in the series and will result in low power consumption and, at the same time, being a complete gaming device.

This also holds true for the MacBook Pro 2016, which is supposedly receiving the same processor from Intel, which will perk up the machine's processing performance. At the same time, power efficiency is improved, while keeping its graphics performance in excellent shape.

With both laptops incorporating Skylake, it expected that their battery life will also be longer. In addition, it will also enable Force Touch technology to work seamlessly on these laptops. It is expected that this feature, which was first seen in the Apple Watch and was later incorporated in the recently released MacBook, will also be seen in the 2016 iterations of Apple's laptops.

According to reports, the new Pro laptop will come in two editions. The standard edition will reportedly have a 13-inch display and a robust 4 GB RAM to boot, along with 128 GB of storage space. The premium edition will sport a bigger 15-inch display; 8 GB RAM, and have 516 GB storage capacity.

As of now, it is not known when Apple will launch the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro 2016, but speculations are rife that may possibly come out as early as next month.
