'Lone Survivor' Trailer: Starring Mark Wahlberg, Ben Foster, Taylor Kitsch, Watch Here (VIDEO)

'Lone Survivor' has released their first trailer starring Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, Ben Foster, Eric Bana and Emile Hirsch. 

The new drama movie is directed by Peter Berg of "Friday Night Lights". The movie is based on the book, Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of Seal Team 10. 

It follows a special elite unit of Navy Seals who run into an army of Taliban soldiers in the Afgan mountains in 2005. This event takes a tragic and deadly turn for most of the soldiers. 

"We have seen the first cut of 'Lone Survivor' and it is soulful, gritty, tough, emotional and, quite frankly, remarkable," Universal chairman Adam Fogelson said at CinemaCon back in April. 

Lone Survivor is expected for limited release on December 27 and nationwide in January.
