Lionel Messi Girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo, Child Thiago Cheer Star During World Cup Semi-Final Against Netherlands

With Argentina moving on into the finals to face Germany in the World Cup, Argentine fans are celebrating the momentous occasion. This is the first time since 1990 that Argentina managed to land a place in the World Cup Finals, and incredibly enough they face off against the Germans again.

The match between Argentina and Netherlands Thursday ended with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out score. Tension built up during the full-time match as the score remained 0-0. Among the fans that cheered on the team was Lionel Messi's girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo along with son, Thiago.

The two could be seen in the bleachers wearing the Messi jersey's.

Roccuzzo was joined by the girlfriends and wives of players Maxi Rodriguez, Fernando Gago, and Martin Demichelis. Together, they cheered on their partners during the match that ultimately ended with Argentina's victory.

Roccuzzo has been cheering on her partner and the whole team since the start of the World Cup.

Messi was again awarded Player of the Match for Thursday's game and has been instrumental in Argentina's advance through the World Cup. Against the Netherlands, Messi was the first to score during the penalty shoot-out. Rodriguez being on fourth strike, managed to seal the deal with a final match point, scoring against the Swiss goalkeeper, Jasper Cillessen.

The finals match between Argentina and Germany will be held on Friday, at the Estadio Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro 3 p.m EST. If Germany manages to win, it will be their 4th World Cup win while Argentina will hold a 3-time champion title if they manage to best the Germans.
