Lindsay McCaul New Album Out Now: Single 'One More Step' in Honor of Her Father to Hit Radio in September (VIDEO)

Singer/songwriter Lindsay McCaul released her sophomore project and debut album for Centricity Music, One More Step, August 19th and announced that her single will be the title track.

McCaul co-wrote the eleven songs on the record, and the title track is a tribute to her father. "One More Step" chronicles the life and death of her war veteran dad, Ret. Col. Larry Walter Pritchett, who passed away two years ago.

"It's one more step/Blink your eyes/You'll be home on the other side/Running down the golden streets/You'll hear a million angels sing/So one more kiss on earth is all that's left/Before the breath of heaven fills your chest/And you finally see His face and find your rest/One more step/One more step," the song lyrics read.

The single is already resonating with concert-going fans and "One More Step" will be going for adds on radio September 26th.

"I've heard other people describe the experience of walking through the last weeks and months of life with a loved one as sacred. I totally agree," McCaul explained in a press release, "God met me and walked with me through that season in a really special, unique way, and He used it to change me."

She goes on to say, "In the song 'One More Step,' I wanted to capture three major life moments with my Dad-big transitions we shared that taught me that this race of life is a series of steps we take with one another. The relationships God puts in our lives are meant to sharpen and refine us as we learn to love one another, support one another, and run to God."

The album, One More Step, has already started garnering strong media response from such key outlets such as NewReleaseTuesday.com said, "If you are looking for the inspirational album of the year in the style of Blessings by Laura Story, then look no further than One More Step."
