LG G4 Availability in US Update: All Four Major Carriers Now Sell LG’s Latest Flagship Handset [VIDEO]

Here is some good news for those looking to purchase the latest LG G4 smartphone in the United States. On June 3, the South Korean tech manufacturer started selling its latest flagship smartphone with T-Mobile via its online retail stores. The nation's largest carrier Verizon began selling the device on June 4, and Sprint and AT&T followed suit on June 5.

Latin Post reports that since the payment plans of the four major carriers are different, the monthly cost of the handset will largely depend on which plan one has or wants to have. The majority of the installment plans are around $20 per month and the consumer is expected to pay $200 if he/ she grab a LG G4 on with a two-year contract.

Then again, if one wants to purchase the handset upfront, Verizon appears to be the most inexpensive option. It is offering the LG G4 for $550 outright. While Sprint and T-Mobile are both selling the device for $600, AT&T is charging $630.

With the LG G4, LG marks it entry into the high-end smartphone market and, early reviews from the tech community confirms that the handset doesn't disappoint. LG G4 comes with a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 QHD display, which has been described as crisper as well as clearer compared to the company's earlier model smartphones. The camera of this smartphone is being advertised as among the best in the market, together with the camera of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S6.

A review published by Engadget reads, "LG's 2015 flagship has a lot going for it, including a lovely pair of cameras and a screen that promises to be the most accurate on the market."

However, potential customers ought to bear in mind that the smartphone comes in a plastic case and with a clunky LG interface encrusted on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. In addition, the LG G4 does not include some of the features incorporated in other flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S6, for instance, rapid or wireless charging right out of the box.

Meanwhile, recently LG has announced two spinoff models - the LG G4 Stylus and LG G4c. These variants aim at offering consumers additional options - the G4 Stylus is 5.7 inches and the G4c is 5 inches. These two variants come with somewhat different specs, but the overall design is more or less the same. While the G4 Stylus and G4c will be launched for the global marker in the coming weeks, the company is yet to confirm the U.S. release.
