Lenny Kravitz, Korn's Brian 'Head' Welch and Michael W. Smith Star in Upcoming 'Holy Ghost' Movie (TRAILER)

Christian performers Lenny Kravitz, Michael W. Smith and Korn's Brian 'Head' Welch lead an all-star cast that will appear in the upcoming film titled 'Holy Ghost' in the near future.

"Our fans crowdfunded Holy Ghost, and now they're our mass-marketing and promotion team around the world. That's why #HolyGhostExperience has gained instant traction, because tens of thousands are working to bring this project across the finish line," said Wanderlust Productions CEO Braden Heckman in a statement, according to Charisma News.

"Every day the Holy Ghost team is working with supporters to spread the word by setting up events, signing up their friends, and engaging within their spheres of influence to give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience this movie."

Thanks to the fans' support of the new Christian movie (directed by Darren Wilson), the documentary project became the most-financed, faith-based film in the history of Kickstarter, when at least at 2,500 people donated $360,000 in only 45 days.

Other notable celebrities appearing in the film regarding the Holy Spirit's impact in the modern world are VeggieTales' co-creator and voice actor Phil Vischer, motivational speaker and Preacher DeVon Franklin (who married actress Meagan Good two years ago) and Welch's 'Korn' bandmate Reginald 'Fieldy' Arvizu to name a few.

"I'm to the point where we're all people; I believe in Jesus; I pray to Jesus but I'm still a person that struggles and sometimes there's not a whole lot of difference, you know [Korn frontman] Jonathan [Davis] sings about pain a lot I sing about pain a lot it's just I went through a lot and I'm going through a lot and I just want to have a voice to share that stuff," said Welch to Loudwire in an interview in 2011.

"It doesn't have to be separate, it doesn't have to be weird, being a Christian I think it was weird like a couple decades ago but now it's just like we're all people."

The 'Holy Ghost' World Premiere Experience will air live on the Bethel TV on Sept. 6, the unprecedented film can be viewed (for free for one night only) by clicking here
