Christian artist Lauren Daigle spoke to Air1 Radio about her song "How Can it Be" and also did a stunning live rendition of it for the studio.

"'How Can it Be' is all about grace and when I heard this song for the first time I was completely confronted with all the things that I had been ashamed of," she said in the video. "Just areas in life that I have walked where I knew I shouldn't have gone."

Daigle then recalled her moment of clarity in seeing and understanding what God meant by grace as He revealed it to her.

"It was kind of a moment where I was like, 'Ok Lord, what is grace? It's so infinite, there's so much to grace and in that one moment He just showed me the freedom of coming to Him," said Daigle. "There's so many things that we try to hide from and say, 'Oh Lord we are not worthy to come to you' and so we run."

She then spoke about what God said to her and reflected on His call to us to come to grace. "The whole time God is saying, 'No, no come to Me. Bring me those burdens that concern you because My grace is more sufficient than all of those things you have done. I don't look at those things and see you as wretched. I look at my Son when I see you. I see the blood that He shed for all of those things to cover all of those things."

She continued, "He confronted me with love and showed me who He was and it brought me to this place of complete awe."

Daigle wants everyone to hear this message because the grace of God can change lives completely.

"I want the world to know the grace of God. When we run we are not accomplishing anything... when we run to Him, that's when true freedom comes. Just what He did on the cross becomes even more clear."
