Ladies' Code News: K-Pop Stars EunB & Rise Dead After Tragic Car Accident

Korean girl group sensation, Ladies' Code, is still mourning the loss of two of its members in the tragic automotive accident that happened on September 3. E! Online reports that as the artists and their crew were headed back to Seoul, the van that had the girls in it, "had its back wheel fall off."

The report went on to say that one of the members EunB, 22-years-old, was killed immediately following the crash. Another member, Rise, died in the hospital on Sunday, following emergency brain surgery that was performed in an attempt to saver her life.

Sojung, another member, was injured and hospitalized, the other two members (Ashley and Zuny) survived, unscathed.

Additionally, many of the band managers and stylists were involved in the accident as well. However, they did not suffer any serious injuries.

Polaris Entertainmentreleased an official statement to Yahoo! Philippines about the accident:

"After a schedule in Daegu on September 2, Ladies' Code was headed back to Seoul. Around 1.30 am in Suwon, an issue occurred with the car's back wheel coming off...with the rainy road and wheel coming off, the vehicle spun several times, hitting guardrail. Due to this, Eun Bi, unfortunately passed away. The other members, Rise is in critical condition while So Jung is injured and hospitalized, currently receiving treatment. The other members, manager and stylists, who were in the car did not receive serious injuries."

The statement went on to add, "Our staff is also unable to recover from the shock and is in great sorrow right now. We want to apologize to all the fans and everyone who have received much shock and we ask for everyone to pray for the quick recovery of the members."

Evidently, it's a tragic day for fans of Ladies' Code, and the friend and family members of the victims.
