'Kung Fu Panda 3' Release Date, Cast Rumors: Film to Hit Cinemas Christmas 2015

'Hannibal', 'Glee' and 'Breaking Bad' stars Mads Mikkelsen, Rebel Wilson and Bryan Cranston, respectively, are allegedly going to portray new characters in the upcoming installment of the 'Kung Fu Panda' film series. Rumor has it that Wilson will supposedly give life to Po's love interest and Cranston will allegedly be playing Po's father. It is not the first animated movie for Bryan Cranston, as he played a part in 'Madagascar 3'.

This third film's plot will see Po enjoying his glory after saving Peaceful Valley from the evil Lord Shen. Po is relaxing and treating himself to his favorite everyday goodies, but this won't last for long, as the chubby panda bear will be facing a new battle against an extraordinary supernatural force which wants to destroy the Kung Fu spirit.

Po will have to rely once more on the great power of friendship and faith in order to save the people of Peaceful Valley.

Alongside the three new cast members, Jack Black will return to give voice and character to Po, together with Angelina Jolie as Tigress and Seth Rogen as Mantis. It is reported that Dustin Hoffman will also make a comeback for the third installment as Shifu.

The movie is mainly produced by Dreamworks and partly developed in China by Oriental Dreamworks, a partner company. The production team reportedly spent a week in China in order to learn more about some traditions regarding tea and incense ceremonies so they could bring light to some key elements of the Chinese culture.

As for the end result, fans will have to wait until December 23, 2015 to find out how Po's adventure turns out this time.
