Up-and-coming gospel artist Koryn Hawthorne on Friday released her full-length solo debut album, Unstoppable, on Provident Label Group. On the new ten-track album, she gives fans a powerful dose of fresh beats and encouragement in being victorious and fearless, to be unstoppable through faith and purpose.
The new album blazes a new melodic trail for the 20-year-old singer-songwriter, incorporating her artistic influences of pop, gospel, soul, contemporary rock-inspired sounds and more.
Hawthorne has set a record as the highest streaming new gospel artist, with over 21 million streams to date. Her No. 1 hit single, "Won't He Do It," remains a chart-topping hit with fans, continuing to top multiple Billboard and MediaBase charts for over two months.
As of last week, "Won't He Do It" retains its No. 1 position on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart and Gospel Digital Song Sales chart, as well as the Mediabase Gospel chart. Until now, the bopping anthem has been a No. 1 hit for 17 weeks overall on Billboard's Hot Gospel Songs chart, and a No. 1 hit for ten weeks overall on Billboard's Gospel Digital Song Sales chart, and nine weeks on the MediaBase Gospel chart.
Highlighted by tracks such as "Unstoppable," "Down Goes Rome," "Speak the Name (feat. Natalie Grant)," and "Won't He Do It (Remix)," Hawthrone's new album spotlights her potent vocals and dynamic songwriting, working in collaboration with Grammy-winning and nominated songwriters and producers Warryn Campbell, Aaron Lindsey, Bernie Herms, Makeba Riddick-Woods, among others.
