Korn's Fieldy Reveals 'Amazing' Experience with Jesus; Says He was 'Hard Hearted Because Power and Pride' [VIDEOS]

Legendary Korn bassist "Fieldy" recently revealed how Jesus saved him after the death of his father in a recent interview.

Fieldy revealed that prior to accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior, he was not "tripping" when his father was on his death bed thinking that he could buy his father the best doctors in order heal him due to his pride and the success he experienced as a rock star with Korn.

"Being in Korn, being successful, there was a lot of power in that. So I ran with a lot of power and money and pride. And I was able to fix anything with that," said Fieldy to an audience at Calvary Chapel's recent outreach event, according to Christian Today.

"I was so hard hearted because power and pride."

The world famous guitarist (born Reginald Quincy Arvizu) bared his soul on the amazing thing that happened to him when his wife Dena offered to pray for him after his late father passed away.

"And I was like, 'Yeah, sure'. And I did it, not meaning much of it. But I really listened to it this time [a few days later]. And what really hit me is she asked me to ask Jesus into my life and he forgives me for my sins - for all of my sins. And I went to bed with that much of it, and I was, like, 'All of my sins? All of 'em?' And I was, like, 'Woah!' And it just lifted this burden off me," said Fieldy.

"And when I accepted the Holy Spirit into my life, it was, like... It's, like, only He can come in and there's like a 'reset' button in there and he reset it and gave me a clean slate. And I was blown away, laying in bed, going, 'No way!' So I got that little taste of Jesus - just that. That was it."

Fieldy is the second known member of the nu metal rock group that converted to Christianity after his longtime band member Brian 'Head' Welch accepted the Son of God as the rock of his life.

"I'm to the point where we're all people; I believe in Jesus; I pray to Jesus but I'm still a person that struggles and sometimes there's not a whole lot of difference, you know [Korn frontman] Jonathan [Davis] sings about pain a lot I sing about pain a lot it's just I went through a lot and I'm going through a lot and I just want to have a voice to share that stuff," said Welch to Loudwire in an interview in 2011.
