KNS Productions Signs Worldwide Publishing Deal With Razor & Tie Music Publishing

Razor & Tie is expanding their publishing department. They just announced signing a worldwide publishing deal with KNS Productions. KNS consists of Brian Kierulf and Josh Schwartz. The duo has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music such as Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, The Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter and Forever The Sickest Kids, to name a few. They recently went to number one in Australia for a song they worked on with EMI signee Ricki-Lee.

Kierulf and Schwartz met in high school playing in bands in the New Jersey area. They formed KNS Productions in 1997. Their intro into the industry was on collaboration with legendary rap producer Rashad "Tumblin Dice" Smith on the album "Emotional" from Carl Thomas. They also co-wrote "Thug Love" as a duet for 50 Cent and Destiny's Child. KNS went on to produce two multi-platinum albums for Britney Spears. They also co-wrote "Summerboy" off of Lady Gaga's The Fame/Fame Monster. The duo earned the Best Electronic/Dance Album Grammy in 2012 for their contributions. Fame Monster was also nominated for album of the year and sold over 14 million units.

KNS has had songs featured in movies, television and commercials including Sex In The City 2, Mean Girls, Happy Feet, Dancing With The Stars, and American Idol, and collaborated with former Idol judge Kara Dioguardi.
