Christian vocalist Kevin Max released an update on his upcoming album Broken Temples and announced the record is now available for pre-order on iTunes.

"Pre-Order for #brokentemples is now officially up on iTunes!!!"¦ you get 3 songs immediately with the purchase"¦ New song release, 'Clear' is in the bunch"¦" he posted on Facebook. "Let me know your thoughts, and if you like what you hear, please leave a comment on the iTunes review panel"¦ So excited to unleash the Kraken"¦ much more content including videos and merchandise on its way for 2015!!! https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/broken-temples/id951859641"

The album was originally set for an August release, and then November, and he is gearing to put it out in early 2015. Last week (December 8), Max launched a PledgeMusic campaign with a hidden goal to fund the project.

"Broken Temples is a musical companion to the great journey of the human condition. We are one part frailty, two parts misguided, with a dash of uncontrollable love and hope in the impossible. Like a darkened looking glass, the light cannot penetrate inside without it first being fractured," he wrote on the PledgeMusic site. "I heard a sermon one Sunday about the 'Children of Israel' wandering in the wilderness like 'Broken Vessels.' That notion and idea was the catalyst for the theme of what would be my 10th studio album. None of us are perfect, we are all broken and need the indwelling of the Spirit to make us whole. In the silence, and in the valley of temptation, trials, & defeat is where God can speak to us. When we surrender every bit of ego and flesh to the ultimate will of the Creator, we can truly be redeemed."

The project is currently 32% funded with 52 days left in the campaign.

The former DC Talk frontman has a number of solo projects since his days as part of the historic trio. However, this is first project since his departure as frontman of other legendary Christian group, Audio Adrenaline.
