Hymns for the Christian Life offers a fusion of Celtic and American folk music. The album produced by Charlie Peacock and Ed Cash also features other artists such as Ricky Skaggs on "Simple Living", Moya Brennan on "A Mother's Prayer," and Alison Krauss on a special duet recording of the popular hymn "In Christ Alone."
