Katy Perry New Song "Roar" Official Music Video Teaser Attends Funeral for Herself, Watch Here (VIDEO)

Katy Perry is sending clear messages in her new teaser videos for her upcoming single "Roar" to be released on August 12th. 

From the two videos, the first her burning a blue wig and the second released today of her apparently attending a funeral for herself, shows that she is letting that part of her life go. 

The blue haired, candy cane spinning Perry is a thing of the past. This could symbolize a new chapter moving past her divorce with Russell Brand, a new direction in her music and image or clearly all of the above. 

In under 30 seconds, the videos definitely grab your attention and they make you even more curious to hear her new material. 

Katy, 28, will be releasing her third full length record this Fall. Her new album Prism is set to release on  Oct. 22nd, 2013. 

Perry has turned into one of music's biggest hit makers in the last several years with hits like "Teenage Dream", "Firework" and "California Girls".  

Perry has also been in the headlines for her on and off relationship with fellow musician John Mayer, who also has a new album coming out soon. Mayer's new album is entitled Paradise Valley and is set to release on August 20th, 2013.
