The K-LOVE Fan Awards weekend kicked off yesterday with a star studded concert featuring Tenth Avenue North, For King & Country, Rend Collective, NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot.

BreatheCast covered the Pepsi sponsored event in which hundreds were in attendance. Tenth Avenue North received a warm introduction from their label mate Matt Maher before taking the stage at the ballroom in the Opry Land Resort.

Tenth Avenue North is nominated for two other awards for Sunday's event. The nominations are for "Group/Duo of the Year Award" and "First Christian Artist to Appear on a 7UP Can."

Hailing from Palm Beach, Florida, Tenth Avenue North had every fan in attendance on their feet worshipping God while belting out songs from The Struggle, the band's latest studio album. It was released in 2012 and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Christian and rock charts. It has received significant critical acclaim.

The actual award show this Sunday, June 1 will be held at the Grand Ole Opry House. The list of performers include Tenth Avenue North, for KING & COUNTRY, Rend Collective, and Switchfoot along with Chris Tomlin, Hillsong UNITED, Steven Curtis Chapman, MercyMe, Francesca Battistelli, Natalie Grant, Mandisa, Crowder, Casting Crowns, Matthew West, Newsboys, Building 429, Jamie Grace, Big Daddy Weave, Phil Wickham, Matt Maher, Kutless, Colton Dixon, Plumb, and Jeremy Camp.

"Dancing With the Stars" top three Finalist Candace Cameron Bure and ASCAP's reigning Christian Music Songwriter of the Year Matthew West will host the K-LOVE Fan Awards.

In addition, Michael W. Smith, Britt Nicole, Scott Stapp, Sidewalk Prophets, The Afters, Newsong, Anthem Lights, Best-Selling author Max Lucado, K-LOVE NASCAR Driver Michael McDowell, Carolina Panthers Linebacker Thomas Davis, Charlotte Bobcats Center Cody Zeller and Louie Giglio will join the list of presenters for the K-LOVE Fan Awards Show.
