Yahoo Sports reported that fans in the crowd, booed him, but Thor responded to them on Twitter and said that it was the exact opposite.

Patheos said fans instead began handing him their tickets just so he would not get in trouble and eventually the guards just let him go. During the third period, of the hockey game, the camera found him once again and he was named "Fan of the Game," as every one in attendance praised the costumed fan.

Thor told Patheos that his hair is that length because he decided to grow it out after learning a family member had cancer and plans to cut it off and donate it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths where it can be used to make wigs for cancer patients.

He also said that he intends to dress up as Jesus again. "Every time I've gone to a Bruins game dressed as Jesus, we have won," he said. The Boston Bruins went on to win the game against the Detroit Red Wings, 4-1.
