It has been weeks after Jennifer Lopez denied any rumors that she and 'Dancing with the Stars' pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy were dating when the two were seen again hanging out with each other during Lopez's show June 21 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.

However, weeks after that, and rumors are still surfacing about the two celebrities.

Lopez has only just split up with her two and a half years boyfriend Casper Smart, leaving the singer single again, with her two children Emme and Max.

In the case of Chmerkovskiy, he says that he cannot bear being called Lopez's boyfriend.

"I now understand why Hollywood is such a difficult place to have a good relationship in: because there's all these interferences. Two people have to be so strong - and notice I didn't say "in love.' They have to be in love, but trust me, there've been situations when two people have been really in love, and all of this gets in the way and it completely ruins it," Maksim says.

The dancing pro however, isn't a stranger to romantic match-ups with celebrities, having been engaged to Karina Smirnoff, and having dated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Kate Upton.

Lopez had met Chmerkovskiy via the singer's close friend Leah Remini. According to her, Lopez and Maksim are simply friends and nothing more. If there was any love involved between the two, it would be totally platonic.

Chmerkovskiy has further expressed that whatever was going on between him and Lopez wasn't anybody's business. As for Lopez, she is busy attending to her two children now that she is a single mother after splitting up with Smart.
