'Jane The Virgin' Season 3 Release Date News, Spoilers: Jane Visits Michael; Rogelio Breaks Up With Xiamara?

New details on the spoilers and release date of "Jane the Virgin" season 3 have surfaced and as per reports, these include Jane in the hospital and Rogelio and Xiamara's separation.

Jane's father Rogelio and Xiomara are set to move on from each other, Parent Herald has learned. According to the publication, both characters are bound to have new partners, which could lead to their permanent separation.

Things began in the conclusion of "Jane the Virgin" season 2. According to reports, Xiomara learned that she got pregnant, presumably due to her affair with a man she has recently known. In line with this, having another baby could be an issue for Rogelio, which further complicates their dynamics and makes their separation more likely to happen. As per rumors, Xiaomara may also have an abortion in "Jane the Virgin" season 3. However, it is yet to be confirmed.

Both characters may have their new partners; thus, being together again may be less likely to happen. According to Deadline, as cited by Parent Herald, Xiomara's former man, players by Ricardo Chavira, will return to the scene. On the other hand, Justina Machado will play the role of Rogelio's new girlfriend in season 3.

In line with the forthcoming season, the latest promo clip shows Jane, who is depressed in a hospital. Also, the doctor in episode 1 unveils that Michael may not make it. This leads Jane to to tell the man that it is not yet the end of their story. As per Movie News Guide, this plot angle suggests that Michael is in a serious situation; thus, it is unsure if the character is still returning in the third season.

"Jane the Virgin" is set to premiere on Oct. 17 on The CW.
