According to them, the romantic relationship between Jane and Michael will be put to test while Rafael is still in Jane's life. In the previous season, the relationship between Jane and Rafael was reduced to mere co-parents. Despite that, the tension between them was still obviously there.

In the next season, Jane will have more time for herself and will realize something that might change her life while Michael is still on his road to recovery. According to the producers of the series, Rafael's coldness towards Jane might be the crucial point in season 3.

Another exciting thing that fans can look forward to in the new season is Jane's first intimate experience. Since the series started, Jane has never done the deed yet despite her being portrayed as a carefree and happy go lucky girl. Also, she has always been the type who does not care if she's still a virgin or not. She has had a fair share of lovers since season 1, but not one of them has had her cherry popped. It remains to be seen if she will end up doing the deed with Michael or Rafael in the new season.
