Jackie Chan Dead? Death Hoax Claims Chan Died From Stunt Accident / Actor Posts Hilarious Meme on Facebook

Jackie Chan ain't dead y'all. I repeat, Jackie Chan is not dead!

Poor Jackie Chan just can't get a break. It seems like a couple times a month, some lunatic on the Internet starts a rumor via Facebook or Twitter than Chan is dead. For whatever reason, the Internet loves to pretend the beloved martial arts died of a mysterious disease or tragic stunt accident.

But it seems like even a stupid death hoax can't knock Chan down. On Wednesday, Jackie posted a pretty funny meme on his official Facebook page with a caption that read "I am an Internet meme?" across a picture of Chan holding his hands on his head in misery.

The photo received 318,000 likes in less than a day.

When you think about it, having a death hoax about you is really kind of morbid sign of respect; a right of passage if you will. Some of the greatest, most revered icons of all time have been the victims of a death hoax.

When The Beatles were at the height of success, a lot of fans though Paul McCartney was dead and that the band just found a look-a-like to fill in.

Even Eminem was targeted earlier this year, allegedly being stabbed to death in New York City.

Luckily for all of us, Jackie Chan has a sense of humor that is alive and well. Sure, one day Jackie Chan will be dead one day. But that day is not today!
