iPhone 7 Release Date, Rumors, Specs: New Flagship to Reveal Curvier and Flexible Design?

Apple users are still hung over by the release of the iPhone 6S and yet, the rumors surrounding the specs and design of the new iPhone 7 are already creating a buzz.

The tech giant remains mum about the release date for iPhone 7. Initial reports claimed that it's going to be in March or the second quarter of 2016. But it seems the launch is going to be pushed back further.

Despite the rumors, it's not clear if the iPhone 7 will feature the curvy and flexible design that Apple has been working on. What seems to be likely at this point is it will deviate from the design of the iPhone 6S.

"The iPhone 7 will mark a new design direction for the company that has time and again set the standard in smartphone aesthetics," said Digital Spy, which also puts the release date for the iPhone 7 in the third quarter of 2016.

One of the more interesting specs for the iPhone 7 was shared by designer Marek Weidlich who dropped the home button on the gadget and converted the whole front display into a huge screen.

"I focused on simple design language which is very important for Apple," Weidlich shared in a report from Mirror. "I designed a curved display without a bezel, and equipped with a software home button."

According to the N4BB, the rumored specs for the new iPhone 7 include a 3GB of RAM and probably the A10 processor, improved 3D Touch and a 12MP camera.

The release date for the iPhone 7 is reported to be in September 2016.
