iPhone 5 vs. Galaxy S4 vs. Galaxy Note 2: Release Date, Specs, Rumors / Samsung New Smartphone King? [VIDEO REVIEW]

iPhone 5 vs. Galaxy S4 vs. Galaxy Note 2 showdown!

Which smartphone has better specs, features. What about an affordable price? When is the iPhone 5 release date? Read on for a complete round up of the latest rumors.

If you're thinking about upgrading your current smartphone, the decision probably comes down to the iPhone 5, the recently released Galaxy S4 or the "phablet" phenom Galaxy Note 2.

If you love to edit photos and videos on a big screen the Note 2 is probably for you. The 5.5 inch screen is great for precise multimedia adjustments on the fly or at home. The iPhone 5 (probably 4-inch display) and Galaxy S4's 5-inch screen may feel a little small for certain tasks.

Under the hood, Samsung streamlined the RAM for the Galaxy S4 and Note 2, giving both phones the same amount of internal memory. However, the S4 has a faster, more efficient processor than the Note 2's quad-core 1.6GHz Exynos CPU. The iPhone 5 is the slowest among the three phones.

The Galaxy S4's 1080p resolution gives Samsung the edge in display vibrancy. Compared to the iPhone 5's 326 ppi, Samsung definitely takes the cake.

Samsung also powers both the Galaxy S4 and Note 2 with Android operating systems: Jelly Bean. However the Galaxy S4 uses the latest version 4.2.2 while the Note 2 operates on 4.1.2. Some smartphone buyers prefer Androis, some the Apple iPhone 5 iOS. It's a toss up.

As far as the camera, Samsung spared no expense giving the Galaxy S4 a 13 megapixel lens. Both the iPhone 5 and Note 2 have 8 megapixel cameras. Samsung with the swish!

Did I mention the Note 2 comes with the S-pen?

Comparing the iPhone 5 with the Galaxy S4 seems a little unfair. Maybe when Apple releases the iPhone 5S later this year, we can see revisit the Samsung vs. Apple battle.
