iPad Pro 2 Release Date News, Rumors: New Device To Come Out In September Or March 2017, Features The A10X Chipset?

Along with talks about Apple's iPad Pro 2 running the A10X chipset, it is revealed that the forthcoming device is set to be released with the company's newest operating system this year.

The iPad Pro 2 is set to be released along with Apple's iOS 10 in September, Tech Advisor has learned. As per the publication, a September release is likely, since the first iPad Pro was released in September 2016, which was followed by the 9.7-in version in March.

As per the publication, Apple might not release the upgrade for the smaller 9.7-in version of the iPad Pro 2. In this regard, fans are speculating that the smaller device is set to arrive in March 2017. Alternatively, Apple could also release both version in the latter timeline, instead of the anticipated September release.

In other news, it is also rumored that the iPad Pro 2 is set to run the A10X chipset. According to University Herald, Taiwan's Semiconductor source revealed that the A10X chipset is set to be developed soon and if this is proven as true, then fans can safely assume the release of the upcoming device in the early part of 2017.

In terms of specifications, the iPad Pro 2 is assumed to have similar storage options as the original iPad Pro. Also, the device also has a rose gold color option, which has been introduced to the iPhone 6 product line. The said color is also available to other Apple products, which include the iPhone and the MacBook.

Overall, Apple's iPad Pro 2 is assumed to be released either in September or in March 2017.
