It's been a tale of two extremes for the husband and wife team, Inspiration Worship, as they launch their latest single "Sticks & Stones" from their EP "Whose."

While the duo is euphoric about the achievement, which is beginning to see Christian radio adds for their song, Tom and Linda Doane have a bigger challenge ahead of them.

Linda was diagnosed in December 2011 with Stage 4-cancer and immediately underwent chemotherapy on the advice of her doctor.

"After that experience," she said, "we understand that every breath truly is a gift. So 'inspiration,' which means a single inhale, is the breath of God giving us life and 'worship' is our exhale of gratitude back to Him."

After thinking that that episode was already behind them, Linda was told that she may need chemo treatment for cancer once again three years after her first diagnosis.

Amid all that, Inspiration Worship continued to work on their EP, "Whose," which includes the single "Sticks & Stones."

"Our desire to share the Good News was impossible to ignore," Linda added. "We pray these songs move you as they have moved us."

The single "Sticks & Stones" was inspired by the gospel of James 1:12 which reads, "Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."

Linda said the message of "Sticks & Stones" was to never let problems come in between the relationship with God.
