Husband-and-wife team Grayson|Reed is already in the studio working on their first album after recently signing with Centricity Music. The couple is expected to release the recording on Sept. 30 this year.

John Mays, the vice president of A&R Centricity Music, said that it was "mutual admiration society" during the first meeting with Mike Grayson-also former frontman of Mikeschair-and Molly Reed Grayson.

"We knew immediately that they were great fits for us from a heart level, and our excitement only grew as their profound musical gifting became more and more evident," he said, according to a press release.

 "These are the kind of people we love to partner with, and we're grateful that we have an opportunity to share them and their music with the world."

The couple also released a statement expressing their excitement over this new chapter in their lives.

"We are beyond excited to be starting this new journey with the incredible teams at Centricity Music and Eaglemont Entertainment," the statement read.

"We've loved the music that Centricity has been putting out for a long time, along with their heart and vision for the artists, so it's a great honor to get to work with such a talented label."

The couple formed the new group, which they called Grayson|Reed, just last month. Molly Reed even announced on Instagram about forming a new group and signing a record deal.

There's no word yet on what kind of production Grayson|Reed will come up with this September, but considering the experience and past successes of the couple in their individual endeavors, the album is expected to gain some critical acclaim.
