Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire Release Date Nov 2013, Christina Aguilera & Coldplay Announced for Soundtrack (VIDEO) 

 

Hunger Games 2, officially titled Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to release to theaters on November 22nd and fans keep getting more info on the artists that will be on the movie soundtrack. 

Christina Aguilera will be featured on the Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack and went to twitter to share the news. 

She wrote on her twitter last night (Sept. 25), "Love the underlying message of @thehungergames. "We Remain" is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike."

Coldplay announced earlier this month that they would be joining the Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack. 

You can watch the lyric video for their song "Atlas" which will be on the upcoming soundtrack. 

A line of the lyrics goes, "Some bent the bow, sometimes the wire. must tense for the note, caught in the fire". 

New Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth and more. 

Official Plot: After winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returns home to District 12 along with fellow winner Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Shortly after returning home, they must embark on a "Victory Tour" of the districts, leaving behind their close friends and family. The day of the Victory Tour, President Snow threatens Katniss' best friend and pretend cousin, Gale Hawthorne. During the tour, Katniss senses that a rebellion is brewing in the districts, but the Capitol is still firmly in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, known as a Quarter Quell, an event taken every 25 years- a competition that could change Panem forever.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire is set to hit theaters and IMAX on November 22nd, 2013.
