The Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire Movie with Jennifer Lawrence Create Box Office Success: Ticket and Soundtrack Sales Total Over $600 Million Worldwide [Trailer]

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is dominating the worldwide box office since its release. The popular dystopian film, featuring Jennifer Lawrence, has earned more than $600 million worldwide this year in ticket sales. Disney's new animated film Frozen is close behind The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as far as total ticket sales go and actually sold more tickets over the weekend.

Haley Frederick from the Huffington Post wrote, "Everything was how I imagined it readying the novel two years ago. The characters, the districts and the arena all immensely improved from the franchise's opening. It was much more focused on the twisted ways of the Capitol and the brewing rebellion than the love triangle the first film seemed to revolve around."

Critics all agree that Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence play Peeta and Katniss perfectly in the new movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Several new cast members were added to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to play tributes Plutarch, Finnick and Johanna.

Preston Wilder from Cyprus-Mail.com wasn't as impressed with the film. He wrote, "But the real problem with The Hunger Games, as we already mentioned, are the actual Hunger Games, which are neither convincing nor sufficiently edgy. The ending of Catching Fire offers hope in that respect, a cliffhanger twist which not only makes the film more plausible in retrospect but also seems to promise no Games in the inevitable threequel. Maybe this soggy franchise can finally catch fire after all."
