HTC Hima Aero Latest News: Specifications, Release Date of Upcoming Device Leaked

Following the miserable performance of its flagship device, the HTC One M9, the Taiwanese multinational smartphone manufacturer seems to be determied to offer a superior device. Meanwhile, a recent post by Evan Blas, the credible gadget leak source, on his Twitter account has revealed the specs as well as the release date of the company's upcoming smartphone, the purported HTC Hima Aero.

Quoting the Twitter post by Evan Blas, Christian Today reports that the purported HTC Hima Aero will be released sometime in the last quarter of 2015. It also reported that the smartphone will supposedly be carried by network providers AT&T and Sprint, but it may possibly be released by other major network providers in the U.S. also.

Although the Taiwanese tech giant has not confirmed this latest leaked information regarding the Hima Aero, there are reports claiming that it is the supposed "hero phone" that was described by HTC CEO Cher Wang in June last before the company's investors. Wang had then stated that the "hero phone" will help recover the plunging stocks of the company owing to the unsatisfactory sales of the HTC One M9. The HTC CEO had also said that the device will be launched in October, and it will have a completely different design compared to the earlier releases by the company.

Speaking at the HTC investors meet last month, Wang said, "I am upbeat about HTC's outlook," adding, "We aim to focus on developing the right products."

Currently, there is very limited information regarding the HTC Hima Aero. However, early rumors claim that the device will sport a 1440 x 2560 pixel Quad HD touchscreen display. If this is true, it means that the Hima Aero will be the first HTC product to sport a Quad HD screen display that will be available in the U.S. stores.

In addition, speculations are rife that the HTC Hima Aero will come with the new innovative Gorilla Glass 4 protection from Corning, in addition to a novel primary rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and RAW photography support.
