Atlanta, GA-based Housefires will be releasing its third album "HOUSEFIRES III" on Aug. 12.

Although they were formed in 2014, and already on their third album, casual fans of Christian music may not be familiar with Housefires.

According to a press release, the band-led by Pat Barrett and Matt Reynolds-"perpetuates the organic root and sound of the unique Grace Midtown church worship community that consists of almost 50 house churches."

House churches of course referring to small gatherings of Christian believers who meet in individual homes.

In an interview with Global Mission Awareness, Barrett said that his biggest influence was his dad who instilled in him the message about doing something greater than yourself, and introduced God to him and his friends. Prior to founding Housefires, he used to be a member of a punk rock band.

The transition to Christian music wasn't immediate either. "I wish I could say, 'this was the moment, it was this day...' I think there was a growing, continual awareness that started from my dad."

The group also shared the announcement of the "HOUSEFIRES III" release. In a Facebook post, they wrote, "'HOUSEFIRES III' is an album that we hope inspires you to spark fires that burn bright in ordinary houses all over the world."

The full tracklist for the new album is as follows:

1. "Filled With Your Glory"

2. "Your Love Is Alive"

3. "Great Is the Lord"

4. "Life Is a Gift"

5. "Yes and Amen"
