'Hemlock Grove' Season 2 Release Date Rumors / Netflix Confirms 10 More Episodes, Original Cast Returning / 'Dexter' Producer Joins Season 2

HemlockGrove fans can rest assured the show's being picked up for Season 2 on Netflix. The popular TV streaming service already ordered another batch of 10 episodes aimed for a 2014 release date. Netflix also announced Charles H. Eglee will be joining Hemlock as executive producer. You may know Eglee from running popular TV dramas like Dexter and The Walking Dead.

Eglee will join Season 1 producers Eli Roth, Brian McGreevy, Eric Newman, Michael Connolly, and Lee Shipman.

Season 1 showrunner Roth wants Hemlock Grove fans to be prepared for more scares and thrills in Season 2 of the monster mystery series.

"The worldwide fan response to Hemlock Grove was phenomenal. Netflix members loved the potent combination of sexy monsters, mystery, and the dark family soap opera that ended with a huge twist, leaving audiences worldwide totally shocked. Season 1 was just a warmup for what we have in store for Season 2. Get ready to be scared in ways you never expected."

Season 1 stars Famke Janssen, Landon Liboiron, Bill Skarsgard, Freya Tingley and Dougray Scott will all be returning to the Season 2 cast.

With renewals of popular shows like House of Cards and Arrested Development, Netflix is shaping up to be one of, if not the, premiere original programming option in television.
