'Harry Potter 8' Confirmed by J.K Rowling: April Fools Hoax Released

According to Yahoo News and the New York Times, J.K Rowling has officially confirmed that she is in the process of finishing up the eighth series of the famous 'Harry Potter' book series. After the last and supposed final release of the 'Harry Potter Movies', fans wandered if it was truly the end of the decade long fantasy world that everyone grew to love.

Today, a social media hoax that originally started back in April of this year, has began to make it's rounds again and get 'Harry Potter' fans excited over nothing. The hoax was made as an "April Fool's joke" and those who have been unknown to the original date and time stamp on the press release were fooled to believe that an eighth installment was in the making. The fake press release stated that  Rowling was reportedly 75% done with the 'Harry Potter' book and would  be releasing the big details of the storyline later this week in a press conference in Scotland. It also speaks about how J.K. Rowling  sought after making the eighth 'Harry Potter' book due to her latest novel, "The Casual Vacancy" and the supposed lack of sells it was making .

The press release even added a comment from the Scholastic Editor saying, "J.K Rowling is a treasure who we support in all of her endeavors. We hoped to get the chance to work with her again one day, but none of us thought it would be this soon, and back in the world of 'Harry Potter'. We are very excited with what Rowling has pieced together for an eighth novel. Her fans are going to be surprised, and so very enthusiastic." Though J.K Rowling is not in the process of making an eighth series of 'Harry Potter', she is making a spin-off novel of the magical world. Her latest piece is said to be about a book that Harry, Hermione, and Ron were given at  school as a textbook.

The book titled, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them', is said to be neither a prequel or a sequel to the beloved 'Harry Potter' books. The book will be set 70-years before Harry Potter was ever born, and will be based in New York City. "The laws and customs of the hidden  magical society will be familiar to anyone who has read the 'Harry Potter' books or seen the films," stated J.K. Rowling in reference to the novel, 'Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them'. There is no further word on when Warner Bros. and J.K. Rowling will be releasing her newest novel,  'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'.
