'GTA Online' DLC Rumors Update: Capture Week Event Pushes Back Game’s DLC Release?

Along with more money and bonuses that await in "Grand Theft Auto (GTA)" Online, it is revealed that the event week spells delay for the game's DLC release.

Rockstar Games recently revealed the capture week, which is dated May 20 to May 26, as per the company's official website. According to the publication, double RP bonuses also apply for the Captures beginning May 20 until all week long and players are aided by the curated Capture Playlists, which can be launched directly from the "GTAV" boot screens. The Double$ and RP playlist was already out last May 20 while the Double RP Playlist is scheduled for a May 23 release.

Along with the aforementioned double money and RP bonuses, logging in to "GTA" Online anytime within the said week gives a player an exclusive in-game t-shirt for the Solomon Richards' box office hit "Meltdown." The said shirt is only accessible this week.

With the current event week, the forthcoming "GTA" Online DLC may have been delayed, according to iDigital Times. As per the publication, Rockstar reportedly put up the event, as it had nothing else to run for the week. In addition, the present event week does not present a theme similar to the forthcoming DLCs.
